About
Mina Kim spent 14 years navigating the fast-paced world of Wall Street, working at JPMorgan and top hedge funds—until one unexpected workout changed the course of her life. In 2013, she came across a little-known brand called Orangetheory Fitness. Intrigued, she flew to their very first studio in Fort Lauderdale, took a class, and immediately thought: this is genius. After meeting the founders, something clicked. She packed her bags, moved to the Bay Area, and built out a network of studios—eventually selling them to a private equity firm in 2019.
Personal mission/values
Today, Mina invests in early-stage startups, with a focus on women and minority-led companies. She also works closely with HNW and UHNW women navigating divorce, helping them reclaim financial clarity and confidence through her relationship with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Her passion lies in making money make sense—empowering people to understand their options, take control, and reach the next level in their lives.
